Groups in 2024/2025

Students from our Danish partner school, Borupgaard Gymnasium, September 2024.

Italian students in November 2024. The 10 students spent 2 weeks at our school attending lessons taught in English in classes 10. A and 11. A. Each Italian student had a Hungarian mentor student (school buddy) who guided him/her during their stay at our school.

Italian group in January-February, 2025. 13 Italian students from Milan, Bergamo, Brescia and Bologna spent 1 month at our school. They attended Maths, Chemistry, Civilization of the English speaking world and English language classes. They took part in the school life, as well, went ice-skating with the Hungarian students or made a project about Italian immigrants in the USA. At the end of their stay, we organized a pizza party. Spanish teachers from I.E.S. Torre Almirante, Algecíras, Spain, February 2025. 3 teachers spent a week job shadowing at our school. They visited classes taught in English and also visited Trefort Ágoston Bilingual Vocational School to visit electronics lessons.

Italian and Greek IT students, February-March, 2025. 8 Italian students and 2 Greek students spent one month at our school doing their IT practice. During their practice they worked together with Hungarian students during classes. 

Students from Paphos, Cyprus, March 2025. 15 students and 2 teachers spent 1 week at our school. During their stay they attended classes, met with the Hungarian students and visited the main sights of Budapest.

Students from ITIS Pininafina in Turin, Italy spent 4 days at our school in March-April 2025. They attended classes taught in English and lab practice. They studied how critical thinking and responsible citizenship appear in the teaching of these subjects.

Students from our Danish partner school, Borupgaard Gymnasium in Ballerup spent one day at our school on 2nd April. They learned about life in the socialist era in Hungary. During their visit, they had a lesson with class 12. A about the 1956 Revolution, then they visited the social neighbourhood in Újpalota, finally they had a talk with one of the teachers about her experiences during this era.
